I typically do 3 types of services... Number 2 has my favorite results.

WANT LOW MAINTENANCE COLOR?⠀

Not sure what that means for your current grow out? Wondering if being darker at the base would even look right on you?⠀

✨✨Let’s get you on a customized treatment regimen✨✨⠀

You’ll hear me say it again and again. COLOR EVOLVES 🌱 It grows and fades and shifts and changes places on your head.⠀

Majority of the services I do, are essentially maintaining and enhancing the initial foundation now that it’s evolving into a new shape.⠀

These maintenance appointments typically fall into the PARTIAL category. Most clients will receive 2-4 maintenance appointments per year. ⠀

Wondering if your color falls into this MAINTENANCE category?⠀

Want to know what we can do to make your color lower maintenance?⠀

Filter that ISH OUT... of your water

Ya’ll need to know about these eco heads if you don’t already 👏🏻💦⠀

We have these in the salon and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to another shampoo bowl head again.⠀

They filter unwanted minerals out of the water. Which makes your color last longer, feel softer, and shows way more shine ✨⠀

And did I mention they have great water pressure 🧖🏻‍♀️🙌🏻⠀

Do you have hard water where you live? That can be a huge factor as to why your hair is fading fast or losing its luster 🌟⠀

Invest in a shower head filter!⠀
I have a few guests who have filters at home, and it was a GAME CHANGER for their color and texture.⠀

Clean water = Worry free + longer lasting color!⠀

Let's Talk Lowlights

Let’s talk LOWLIGHTS 🌙⠀

How many times have you or your color felt a little too “solid” or a little too “washed out?”⠀

Sometimes when highlighting is the main color technique, after a while you look in the mirror and BAM! 🙀 How did I get this blonde?!⠀

FACT : you neeeeeed depth in the hair to allow your highlights to have maximum brightness + POP 💥⠀

Lowlights are a fantastic way to add a little dimension back into the hair and give that blonde some punch.⠀

Sure, it might seem contradictory to add dark in to make you feel blonder, but in reality it’s exactly what you need.⠀

Take a look at Dawn’s hair. We normally do a Full Balayage to allow her the most overall lightness. But this last color we decided she was feeling a little too solid on the ends. We chose a lowlight that complimented her blonde, and VIOLA!⠀

New dimension, new shine, and a healthier look for summer! 👏🏻🌟⠀

Daria's first color EVER!

GUESS WHAT! Daria let me color her hair 🙏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻😭⠀

...for the first time in her LIFE 🤯😱⠀

I have been doing Daria’s cuts for about 6 years now.⠀

She has the best fashion sense, she’s always working hard to meet her next goal, and she’s never had a ton of time to pamper herself.⠀

She’s always had a really pretty brunette shade naturally and thought it wasn’t necessary. Plus she was super nervous about feeling not like herself when she looked in the mirror. Which I totally get! ⠀

We need to feel like our hair brings out the best side of us. Like when you wear that little black dress that makes you feel SEXY. Or pull out that one pair of jeans that fit JUST RIGHT.⠀

Ya’ll know what I’m talking about 🖤⠀

I believe your hair can give you that same feeling. Confidence. Health. A women taken care of.⠀

Once Daria and I settled on a shade she felt comfortable with, and talked in depth about what she wanted out of a color...she said “I trust you.”⠀

And as I turned her towards the mirror to see the finished result, she said “I can’t believe I waited this long to see myself this way.”⠀

*cue my ugly cry* 😭⠀

Talk about a BRONDE transformation

DANGGGG this BRONDE transformation is everything 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻⠀

Elizabeth came to me ready for a change. She wanted to go back to something closer to her natural color so she could space out her appointments 📆⠀

I chose to paint a Full Highlight for her using both highlights + lowlights.⠀

We wanted a seamless blend when her natural grew in. By choosing NOT to do a global on scalp application, I can give her a tad softer grow-out line come 8 weeks from now. Essentially, by varying the lowlights with her existing natural it creates a subtle multidimensional look.⠀

Then I painted a fewwww soft balayage pieces up around the face. Just a few with @love_kevin_murphyfreestyle.lightener. And I used a low level 10vol developer to avoid damaging any fragile ends.⠀

We finished with a root shadow of @redken shades eq 06N. Then a gloss through the ends of 08GI + 09N + Clear. Simple, but just enough depth reflection to give her this sexy root blend that won’t need to be touched up for another 3–5 months 🖤⠀

Elizabeth is the perfect example of someone who wants to go a long time between appointments, and needs to adjust her color to fit that type of low maintenance look.⠀

We picked out some hydrating products to take home, and I coached her on how to keep her hair feeling healthy between visits🌟 ⠀

What’s the real takeaway here? Sometimes change is good. And even though it can seem sad to let the blonde go, look how sultry, healthy and sexy a walk on the BRONDE side can be ✨✨✨
